As the founding Director of the company Damian brings over 20 years of experience in the industry to each project, and in his dealings with each client. He has a broad depth of experience on highly designed projects from small alterations to large scale public works, many of which have won awards nationally.
Damian received first class honours from the University of Waterloo, Canada, specialising in structural engineering and the economic engineering of structures. He has completed post graduate advanced structural engineering courses and actively engages with local tertiary institutions as guest lecturer and tutor in the Architecture departments at UTS, UNSW and University of Sydney. He has also presented a lecture series to architecture students at Tonji University, Shanghai in collaboration with the architect Stan Fung. Local schools benefit from Damian’s talks, instruction at Robotics Clubs, and sponsorship of fundraising activities.
He brings an intense drive and passion for architectural and structural engineering excellence. His personal approach draws on uniquely progressive analytic skills which strive to ensure absolute commerciality of advice, reliability and responsiveness to client needs and outcomes. He has a close working relationship with builders which produce highly practical, buildable and informed engineering solutions.
Damian won Consultant of The Year in the DArch Horse Awards in 2014 recognising the role and contribution of consultants in the success of architectural projects.
